The Royal Welch Fusiliers, 23rd of Foot were founded in 1689. They fought in the American Revolution at the Battle of Bunker Hill and Guilford Courthouse in North Carolina. In 2006, with the re-organization of the British Forces they became the Royal Welch Regiment. The shirt is red.
